Formed in Watford, England, in 1980, the band released two singles, “Imagination” and the double A-side “Colourless Dream/Things We Never Did” on their own label Last Movement before signing with the independent label Midnight Music Records in 1982.

They released five studio albums with Midnight before Cherry Red Records took over Midnight’s roster in the early ’90s. Highlights of their long and erratic career include recording a session for BBC Radio One’s prime-time John Peel show, a tour of the U.S. West Coast, and their performance at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, in 2016.

They have played in all major cities across Europe, disbanded twice, reformed, and released a sixth studio album, ‘Melting in the Fullness of Time,’ and then broke up again before their comeback in 2010 with the current lineup that recorded their 2018 album ‘Mission Creep.’

Older, wiser, and with an even more stubborn worldview, they are currently putting the finishing touches on a collection of new songs that will make up their tenth studio album to be released this summer. Many of these songs will be played at the Visor Festival.
